Abyssa collects no personal data. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Your progress is kept on your own device and nowhere else.
The short version
Abyssa collects nothing about you. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code of any kind — the app has zero external dependencies. No account is required, and none can be created.
What is stored, and where
Which plates you have finished, which are half-assembled, the cut you prefer and your settings are written to a single file inside the app's own container on your iPhone or iPad. It never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it.
There is no iCloud sync in this version. Progress lives on one device and does not travel to another. If that changes in a later version, this page will change with it and say so — including the fact that such a sync would run through your own private iCloud database, which the developer cannot read.
Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Abyssa never sees your payment details, your Apple Account, or any identifier belonging to you: Apple tells the app only whether a sea has been bought, and the app stores nothing about the transaction. The developer receives the same aggregate sales reports every developer receives from Apple, which name no buyer.
What leaves the device
One thing, and only when you ask for it: a purchase or a restore, which goes to Apple. Everything else in Abyssa works with no network connection at all.
This website
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anyone else — the fonts, the images and the one small script are served from this domain. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you were not asked. The web host keeps ordinary server logs, as every host does; they are not read for any purpose and are not connected to anything in the app.
Children
Abyssa is rated 4+ and is suitable for children. It collects nothing from anyone of any age. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no browser and no advertising.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. Abyssa holds none — so in practice there is nothing to access, correct or delete, and no way to identify you even if you asked. The right exists all the same, and the address below is where to exercise it.
Changes
If any of this changes it changes here first, with the date at the top, and in the App Store privacy label at the same time.
Contact
TODO — a contact address. Apple checks this page before the app can be submitted, and a support page with no way to reach anybody is not one. Set SUPPORT_EMAIL in build/pages.py and in AppInfo.swift, then run the build again.
